This is one radical innovation that will change the way you look at boats, literally. We are going to mold a single sheet of clear polycarbonate (aka "bullet proof glass")into a completely transparent canoe. The process begins by designing the boat in 3-D modelling software (I use Solidworks). Once the boat has been designed, that file is used to create a 3-D model of a mold. The mold is then machined using a 5 axis CNC milling machine. Here are a couple images of the 3-D model that was created in Solidworks
